ok, be honest…

four deadlines. one free morning.

Bud fits the work into the hours you really have, and warns you days early when the week won’t fit. You just press start.

The demo phone shows Tuesday morning, free until 11:00. Bud has already picked the first job: Draft the intro paragraph, 45 minutes.

01 Capture

say it once. bud files it.

Type it the way you’d text a friend, or just say it. Bud finds the project, the deadline and how long it’ll really take.

In the demo you type “send halden the logo options by fri”. Bud files it under the Halden project, estimates 30 minutes from your past runs, reads the Friday deadline, and slots it into today.

02 Start here

one job. already picked.

Bud weighs everything you’ve got and picks one job that fits before your next class. Rather start with something else? Tap it and the rest re-fits.

In the demo the first job is Draft the intro paragraph, 45 minutes, with its first step written out: rewrite the opening sentence. It unlocks three more jobs and fits before an 11:00 lab. Tapping the Halden job moves it to the top and the rest of the plan reshuffles.

03 Your day

planned around your actual day.

Classes, shifts and calls are walls. Blocks you reserved stay yours. Work only goes into the gaps, with room to breathe.

In the demo the day reads as lanes: free from 08:45 to 11:00 with three jobs in it and 35 minutes spare, Chem lab from 11:00 to 12:30 marked as busy, and a Thesis block from 14:00 to 16:00 kept for thesis work.

04 Your week

it sees saturday on tuesday.

Sara’s wedding is Saturday, and it quietly breaks your Monday thesis deadline. Bud catches it four days early, shows what it would move, and moves nothing until you tap.

In the demo the week view shows Saturday taken by the wedding. Bud warns that the thesis stops fitting before Monday and proposes moving Draft conclusion to Wednesday and Results figures to Thursday. After you tap Do it, the week fits again and the deadline stays Monday.

05 Missions

big projects. tiny jobs.

Give Bud a goal and a date. It breaks the work into jobs, and a job never shows up before the one it’s waiting on. Same plan on your laptop.

In the demo a laptop shows four missions. In the Thesis mission, finishing Draft the intro paragraph unlocks Rewrite methods section. Bud also remembers that Dr Hale wants APA 7 and short paragraphs.

06 Focus

press start. the rest goes quiet.

The timer shows minutes, so it never ticks at you. Run over and it just counts up, with no alarm and no guilt. It keeps going on your lock screen.

In the demo the focus timer shows 24 then 21 minutes left, carries on as a live activity on the lock screen, and when the job runs long it shows plus 3 minutes over the estimate.

Questions people ask first.

Is this another to-do app?

No. A to-do app assumes you already know the tasks. Bud works them out, then picks which ones fit the next two hours.

Does it manage my whole day?

No. It owns the inside of a work block you already carved out. No habits, no sleep, no meetings.

What are credits for?

Anything that calls a model: chat, job generation, research, voice. Planning, timers and streaks are free.

Do I have to connect a calendar?

No. Without one you type how many minutes you have.
